Soi 7 Photos (Part 1)

This page starts the tour a little to the south of Soi 8 on Beach Road. Beach Road is a very busy one-way Road that can be difficult to cross at times. As the name suggest it runs parallel to Pattaya Beach which is not visible in this tour. In the area around Soi 7 and 8 there are many bars on Beach road including gogos and live music bars.

The photo below shows the entrance to Soi 8 and some of the bars in the area.

Here it is a little closer. There are many hotels in that soi including the popular Flipper Lodge for which you can see the sign.

A little past Soi 8 is the World Wide Bar and a gogo with the same name. World Wide Bar is one of the live music bars in the area. There is also a small soi running down the side of this bar that contains a number of small bars. The L-shaped soi ends on Soi 8

The bars continue on past Soi 7 until Central Pattaya Road.

Other than bars and restaurants there are a few other types of businesses in the area.

Silver Star 2 is one of the gogo bars on Soi 7. There is also a gogo bar called Silver Star Agogo on Soi 8 and one on Walking Street .

There are a number of beer bar complexes on Soi 7.

Most of the bars are very quiet during the day-time.

However, there is always some activity in the area.

Some of the complexes contain a fair number of bars.

Amazing Paradise is one of the larger Bars on Soi 7. It is worth checking out.

There are two sois that join Soi 7 and Central road this is the first of them.

It is lined with many small beer bars

There is even a combined doctor and dentist surgery.

The Eagle bar is on of the bars that is busy during the day. This particular day they were getting ready for a party that night. Nearly every night at least one bar in the area has a party. Generally this means balloons are put up and free food is offered. Sometimes live music is provided. In most cases the parties are paid by customers. If you find yourself at a party and have a meal it is a good idea to at least thank the host of the party.

Even though Soi 7 (and Soi 8) is a one-way street be careful as you will see traffic going in both directions. Especially the motorbikes.
