Soi Lucky Star to Soi Diamond

This page takes us away from Marine Plaza down a small soi leading to Walking Street called Soi Lucky Star. The next soi along is Soi BJ followed by Soi happy before arriving at Soi Diamond. The following page continues with more photos of Soi Diamond.

There are many beers in this area and a number of Gogos. There are many gogos on Soi Diamond.

Soi Lucky Star is a small narrow soi. There are open-aired bars, a large pool hall type bar and live music venue called Blues Factory. An infamous bar called JP Bar can be found here. This is a late night bar where many freelances can be found. late at night it is a good place to sit and watch all the gogo girls who haven't found a customer for the night walk home after work.

The place with the sign 'Hard Rock Pool' is a good place to play some pool. You can get cold drink while you are there too.

The last photo and the next were taken looking towards marine Plaza.

The next soi along in Soi BJ. This soi is a bit quieter than some of the others. There are many small shops and not many bars. There is a gogo bar near Walking Street.

There are also Thai food stalls along the soi.

Further away from Walking Street there are very few.

Further along still there are some hotels.

..before the soi comes to a dead end.

The next photo is looking back down the soi.

As the soi is a dead end we follow the same route back to Walking Street.

The next soi along is a very short one that also comes to a dead end. Fortunately Soi happy ends at a very good gogo bar called Happy Agogo. If you haven't checked it out then put it on your list to do.

On both sides of Soi Happy there are many open-air beer bars.

Between Soi Happy and Soi Diamond there is a very small soi called Soi PN Inn. There is not too much of interest here so there are only two photos of this soi.

Soi Diamond is on of the major sois that run off of Walking Street. There are many gogo bars, hostess bars and beer bars on this soi. There is also a late night disco on the soi. There are also a number of restaurants.

At the Walking Street end there are man gogo bars on both sides of the soi. The soi is wide with a small beer complex in the centre. The photo below is the southern side of the soi.

The following photo is the northern side of the soi.

At the end of the beer bar complex away from Walking Street there is a bar call Carousel. Here you can sit while the bar goes around in circles. I don't know if it is a good idea to be too drunk here.

There are some gogo bars on the level above Soi Diamond. These stairs lead to Heaven Above.

The soi narrows considerably after a short distance. If you are walking down this soi watch out for motobikes as they do come along this soi.
